The Balm Meet Matte Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick review

Hello ladies !

These liquid lipsticks have been around for years and at first they didn't catch my attention because when they first came out they didnt have a wide range of shades to choose from

And most of the shades they had , were not an everyday colors but after a while they added some new shades , more suitable for daily wear
So I decided that it's time to test them so I bought my first tube in the shade sincere
Which is a mauvish brown color
But later on I ended up with five more shades Trustworthy , Dedicated , Devoted , loyal , and Adoring 

Packaging !

The liquid lipstick comes in a cardboard packaging nothing really fancy and the liquid lipstick itself has the same outer fonts and patterns and you can see the actual shade through the tube

The applicator is fine I didnt have any problems with it , It is a doe foot applicator that feels soft and gentle on the lips

The formula feels light when you apply it but when it dries matte you can feel it on your lips its definitely not light enough that you feel nothing on the lips
It has a minty feel that gives you a cooling sensation which I personally like
And it is good to mention that the formula is not sticky at all

I used Sincere alot before purchasing the other shades so I am pretty sure that I'm too familiar with the formula of those liquid lipsticks

It dries matte quickly and it is not fully transfer proof but it doesn't transfer easily , but it definitely comes off from the center of your lips when you eat
Or at least thats what happens with me whenever I eat wearing them
They only completely fade from the center of my lips
So you may have to throw it in your purse to touch up during the day if you know you are going to eat a full meal or so

But apart from eating , it lasts a long time but the color becomes less intense the more time you spend wearing it
It lasts for about 8 to 9 hrs on me without touching up even when I eat a small snack

The balm cosmetics have 50% off of all their products every year so if you are interested in buying these but thinking 17$ is much to spend on a liquid lipstick then you can wait and get them for half of the price

And I ended up buying more five shades as I mentioned !

As for the swatches
From lightest to darkest !
Sincere : a light mauvish brown

Trustworthy : a warm brown, deep nude

Dedicated : a cool toned rich berry color

Devoted :  bright red

Loyal : a deep blood red "classic red"

And adoring : a deep burgundy

Overall I love these liquid lipsticks ! I'd rate them 7.5 out of a 10

Too faced Chocolate Gold Eye Shadow Palette review

Hello again !

Today's review is obvious from the title , its about the too faced chocolate gold palette

I had it for a couple of months so now I can say I have a solid opinion about this palette
And to be honest it was kind of an impulse buy

I bought it again because of how many beauty bloggers raved about this palette
So I decided to give it a shot !

It retails for 49$ which is not cheap at all
But its kind of the standard price for many of the too faced palettes

Here is what the outer packaging looks like

The packaging is awesome but I prefer their chocolate bon bons palette packaging

So as you see , you get 16 eyeshadows and two of them are in larger pans which are chocolate gold and rollin' in dough

This is not an everyday eyeshadow palette
But you can do a pretty decent daily look with it as you get 4 matte shades including a black shade

And as for the other 12 shades they are metallics .The texture varies between soft and dry , textured , though not so gritty but they all apply very nicely on the lid 

You can use them wet or dry but I prefer using them wet as I feel you get the maximum pigmentation this way and I also like to use my finger for those metallics as I tried several brushes and I felt that they are best applied with the finger 

I experienced fallouts with almost all of the shades but mostly with the mattes and the shade Rich girl 


Swatches time !

These are built up swatches without using a primer 
The first 4 shades are the mattes and they are : rollin' in dough , so boujee ( which is hard to see as its too close to my skin color ) , cocoa truffle , and decadent which is the black one . 

As for the metallics : classy & sassy (the one right next to the black one ) , rich girl ( very glittery with tons of fallouts )  , famous , drippin' diamonds , new money ( more vibrant in the pan than on the eye ) , chocolate gold , money bags 

As for the other picture with the remaining shades include : livin lavish ( purplish plummy shade ) , gold dipped , old money , love & cocoa , and lastly holla for a dolla 


I overall like the palette but I dont reach for it that often as I reach for the chocolate bon bons palette ( which I'll be reviewing soon ) 

But if you are someone who loves glittery matallics , then you'll end up liking it so much !

NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM REVIEW / Cannes

So this is my first time blogging , I started this blogsite because I know someone somewhere in the world would be searching for endless reviews before buying a product online because I am one of those people ! And beacause I was intrigued to buy many beauty products just because they were so hyped up and I ended up feeling that they were not worth the money and the hype at all .

So enough rambling and lets get to the review now

I know these lip creams have been out in the market many years ago but I never happend to try them before ( And I regret that so much ) so oneday I was like I have to try some of nyx lip products so I bought the nyx soft matte lip cream in the shade Cannes ! I love nudes and mauves so these are the shades that I gravitate towards the most

The actual review ! 

The formula is very smooth and buttery and it is so light on the lips that almost feels like a lip balm and it has a medium coverage in the first swipe but you can easily build it up to full without it looking like you have a multiple layers on your lips 

Online pictures of this particular shade made me think that it is kind of a light color but in real life it is a bit darker , it is almost a muted pinkish mauve that would compliment a variety of skin tones .

And its good to mention that it is not sticky at all and it takes about 1 minute to fully dry matte

It is not transfer proof , in fact it transfers very easily when you drink , eat or kiss
So you may have to re apply through out the day

It may not last all day long but that is the issue of almost all the lipsticks
I enjoy it so much and I pretty much have nothing bad to say about it

If I have to rate it , I would give it an 8 out of a 10

And last but not least I purchased it from amazon for almost 4$
